loaded coffee cake
I’m not always a from-scratch type, but I love doctoring up recipes to sneak in a bit more nutritional value. This recipe was such a success. The goal was more protein, more fiber, same delicious coffee cake taste. Mission accomplished!
Details below on what I added to the Bob’s Red Mill recipe.
Bob’s Red Mill cinnamon swirl coffee cake (bought at Whole Foods)
Collagen peptides (3 scoops)
Bone Broth Protein (4 scoops)
Flaxseed meal (3 tbsp)
Water (2 tbsp)
3 eggs, instead of 2.. more protein
I used olive oil as the oil/butter as directed and whole milk for the milk (protein)
Bake as directed. Enjoy!!!
